Is it the Z-Poxy finishing resin that has the amber color to it and is typically used as an epoxy pore filler under KTM-9? Or is it one of the other Z-Poxy products?
Also, what is a good source to buy it online?
thanks

Yes use the Finishing Resin not the adhesive epoxies. the 5min-10min-15min-2hr adhesive Zpoxy will be too rubbery to sand well. the finishing resin dries very hard and sands very good.

It is a Pacer industries product. and most any RC Airplane site will have it or go to Pacer Industries web site for link to dealers.

I get mine at a local RC shop in my little town out here in the boonies, I'd bet you can find one in your area as well. It is the preferred finishing resin for fiberglass model airplane builders so it is easy to find if you look

Thanks for the replies. I FINALLY found a local source and am picking some up tomorrow. I've been using the clear coat system 3, but wanted a little more amber to get the grain to pop a little more and I wanted to stay away from pigments this time.

who is the local source you found it through? I have been trying to get it in Denver for a while and have never found it. I hear that Tracy from Luthiers suppliers may start carrying it too.

I'm on my way over there right now to verify that it is what they say it is and buy some before I get any hopes up about it. I'll report back in a couple hours.
